In the last few months I have seen less responsiveness from staff however I would use them again if in the area. View Less

The new property manager, Joelle is definitely a professional and on point in looking out for your needs as long as communication is being made on a regular. Very curteous, friendly and approachable to be at your best interest. Joelle has catered to my needs at Albany-Menands Self Storage for 9 months this year, I highly recommend using this storage facilty if your in the need of priority service in a crunch, affordability and cleanliness. I used this facilty twice, once before Joelle came aboard to take over for Dan and Joelle picked up where he left off in great fashion. JOELEE! IS FANTASTIC!!!!! I recently helped a disabled friend transfer units to ALBANY-MENANDS SELF STOREAGE, because this facility offers such reasonable rates. We both have broken hands & used a delivery service to move to items. JOELEE provided flat carts & a huge moving bin, industrial sizes to facilitate the unloading of the vehicle & organization of the unit. She allowed us to use them as we organized & repackaged much of the contents. It poured that day so we repacked on premise, with her blessing. Calling multiple storeage companies greatly confused the customer who had other issues. Joelee's kindness was remarkable & commendable. I have, for various reasons over the years, been in numerous storeage units & factories. This facility is reclaimed / converted factory space. I am seriously reporting, if you subscribe to the "5 second rule", you could eat of the floor here! I have never seen such a clean well maintained manufacturing/ storeage area, EVER! Floors, shiny & clean. Interior of individual enclosures had an almost sanitary feel. The reason for our repacking was to inventory belongings & replacement of the packaging so filthy from the debris & rodent droppings from the other MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE "ACCOMMODATIONS"! JOELEE runs a clean, affordable, efficient building. Her best attributes however are her customer service technics. She is funny, kind, professional & compassionate. My friend needed a plethora of help & patience. JOELEE delt with her with a smile & a kind heart. The business location is immaculate & economically priced, run by this sweet woman with available access (huge freight elevator), & necessary equipment. Can't ask for more. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND. ASK FOR JOELEE!!!! View Less

Amazing service right from the first phone call! We were looking for a much larger space and had been calling other places and no one would pick up or we got the run around about unit availability. Called here and Dan was so nice! He answered all of our questions, explained the whole process and pricing and he even went up to measure the hallway to make sure we could get pallets through! Everyone there is so friendly and goes out of their way to make you feel at home and answer any questions you have. View Less

This place is amazing!! The price was the lowest in the area, and they run great promotions too. Jessica helped me and my family move in and out of our unit. It was a stressful experience moving all my stuff from CT to NY again, but each time I visited was easy and peaceful. I was always greeted with a smile and conversation, and they helped me when I forgot my storage unit number (so embarassing, but they didn't have me feeling embarassed!). I would definitely store again between moves with them in the future. View Less

When it was time to move everything was super easy, the manager had all the closing paperwork ready for us and even helped us pack out moving truck. Just when you think it’s all over we left a bolt to a piece of furniture behind and the manager mailed it to us for no charge! I highly recommend them. View Less
